Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by any of the following terms and conditions:
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. Every effort is made to display prices correctly but on rare occasions if a mistake has occurred, Delivery Balloon will correct this mistake and inform the customer accordingly and the customer can then decide to proceed or cancel the order there after.
Delivery Balloon offer to supply the helium filled balloons selected by the customer. Each balloon will be secured by a ribbon and a weight and sent in boxes that are deemed suitable for this type of product by our courier. If additional products are ordered, these will also be sent in the same box.
At the time of ordering the Customer must provide a correct daytime telephone number and e-mail address. Failure to provide this may result in the order not being sent.
Delivery Balloon cannot be held responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer.
We reserve the right to substitute your balloon and or/gift with a similar choice if your first choice is out of stock. Where there is sufficient time before dispatch, the customer will be contacted and an alternative offered.
Helium foil 18" balloons normally float for at least a week and usually months. However in cold temperatures the helium may cause the balloon to appear deflated but after re-entering into a warmer climate the helium expands and the balloon will be inflated once again.
Once a delivery has been signed for at the address specified on the original order, Delivery Balloon will no longer be responsible and refunds will not be given if the balloon does not pass onto the named recipient.
All balloons are perishable goods and Delivery Balloon will not accept returns and unwanted balloons. In the unlikely event of a product defect the customer must inform Delivery Balloon in writing within 5 days from receipt of that balloon. All packaging and contents of the carton must be returned to us for inspection. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the claim being rejected. When additional items have been sent the refund amount will only apply to the defective product.
Refunds will only be issued for damaged goods or goods not delivered. No refunds will be given for late deliveries. Any dates quoted for delivery of orders are approximate only and Delivery Balloon shall not be liable for any delay in delivery however caused. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence unless previously agreed by Delivery Balloon. If Special Delivery Items are late, you are entitled to a refund of the postage charges.
In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the goods, if defective or damaged and will in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused.
Orders may be canceled up to 2 days prior to the requested delivery date and a full refund minus a 15% administration fee will be issued within 30 days of cancellation. However once the goods have been dispatched and by virtue of the Distance Selling Regulations Delivery Balloon will be exempt from giving cancellation rights.
All balloons and accompanying products are not suitable for children under 24 months. Please note balloons are not a toy and children must be supervised at all times. Delivery Balloon cannot be held responsible for injury or accidents caused by the breach of this condition.
All orders submitted from this web site are deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and also, through SagePay, to take payment for balloons and additional items selected. A contract between the customer and Delivery Balloon will only be completed upon authorised payment receipt from SagePay.
