When will my balloons arrive?
During the checkout process you will be able to choose your desired delivery date, up to a year in advance! You will then choose a delivery option depending on how important it is that your balloon arrives on the selected day. If you choose the Guaranteed Delivery option we will provide a tracking code so that you can see the progress of your order. To see the delivery options click here.
Can I specify a time for my balloon gift to be delivered?
We guarantee your balloons will arrive on the date chosen, providing you choose Guaranteed Delivery, but we aren’t currently able to offer a specific time of delivery on the day. Balloon gifts often arrive in the morning, but they can arrive any time throughout the day, usually during working hours.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to almost every address in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland). We are unfortunately unable to deliver balloon gifts to the Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey).
Do you offer next day delivery?
Yes, if you place your order before 5pm (4pm on Fridays), choose the next day as your delivery date and the Guaranteed Delivery option, it will arrive the next day (except Sundays & Bank Holidays). However, please be aware that delivery to the highlands and islands of Scotland and Northern Ireland can sometimes take a little longer so please allow extra time when ordering to these areas.
Does Delivery Balloon deliver on a Sunday or bank holidays?
Sadly not. We can deliver beforehand though and we can put a 'Do Not Open Until' date on the box to delay the surprise until the right moment! If you wish us to do this, please contact us via phone or email after checking out.
Can Delivery Balloon deliver on the same day?
We do not currently offer this service, although we are looking at providing it in the future.
What do you sell? Are the balloons inflated?
Balloons! Big ones, small ones, balloon bouquets, balloons in boxes, balloon gifts and just plain balloons. All balloon are fully inflated with helium, arranged and decorated by hand. We also sell a range of additional gifts that can accompany your balloon.
I made an error when I ordered my Delivery Balloon, can I change the delivery name, address, message etc?
If we haven't already dispatched your balloon gift this should not be a problem. Please call our customer services on 0845 486 1016 or use our Contact Us page quoting your Order Reference number and we will amend your order.
Incredibly I have had a last minute mind switch and no longer want to make someone really happy by sending them a fabulous balloon delivery, can I cancel my order?
If we haven't already dispatched your gift we will be able to cancel your order and offer a full refund. Please ring our customer service line during office hours on 0845 486 1016 or use our Contact Us page quoting your Order Reference number. If it has already been sent, you are unfortunately not able to cancel.
I love the balloons on the website but I can't find one that is perfect! Do Delivery Balloon deliver any other balloons than those shown on the website?
Delivery Balloon can normally only deliver the balloons shown on our website. However, if you have a specific request we will do our best to accommodate you. Please get in touch. Suggestions are welcome too!
Can I include other items with my balloon delivery?
When you buy your balloon in a box, you will have an option to add further items such as chocolates and soft toys to customise your gift.
How long do the balloons stay afloat for?
Your balloon will float for at least a week, often for a lot longer if kept at room temperature. Very warm or very cold rooms will tend to make the balloon deflate at a faster rate.
How are the balloons delivered?
All our balloons are delivered by courier. Your balloon gift will be presented in a box, the size of which depends on your choice of balloon! We fill our balloons with helium to ensure a spectacular effect when the box is opened. The balloon or bouquet is attached to a funky balloon weight (the size, style and shape depending on the balloon you have chosen) and the box is decorated with colour coordinating tissue paper and confetti sprinkles.
Can the balloon delivery be sent to a non-residential address e.g. hotels or businesses?
Absolutely. Providing you have a full address with postcode we can deliver. If it’s a large organisation/building, please add as much information as you can (job title, department, room number etc) so that whoever accepts the parcel (usually reception or the postroom) can get it to your friend as soon as possible.
Can I send a balloon gift to a friend in hospital?
Yes. We do advise that you include the Ward Number/Name to make sure that there are no delays in your gift reaching the recipient once it arrives at the hospital reception/post room. You may also like to call the hospital to make sure they take your gift to the specified ward as soon as possible after delivery - it is their responsibility to do this once it has been delivered.
How much do the delivery balloons cost?
Our delivery balloons start from as little as £11.95. This includes Super Saver delivery and a fully decorated balloon!
I want to order online but I'm worried about security.
Our site is completely secure. We do not store your card details and payments are processed securely by SagePay. Personal details are never shared with third parties.
What will happen if the person to whom I've sent my order isn't there to receive their balloon delivery?
If your balloon recipient isn't present at the delivery address, our courier will post a card informing the absentee personage of the failed delivery. Some couriers will try again the next day or your friend can re-arrange delivery or pick the balloon up at the nearest delivery office following in the instructions on the card.
Can the balloon be left in a safe location or with a neighbour if the recipient isn’t in?
If you know there’s a chance the recipient may not be in you can call/email us in advance and a member of staff will make sure that special instructions are added to the box. If you have chosen Guaranteed Delivery, a signature is required upon delivery.
Are there any delivery restrictions I need to be aware of?
Most of our balloons can be delivered any day Monday to Saturday. However, some of our huge mega balloons/bouquets can’t be delivered on a Saturday or to some remote areas. This information will be displayed on the balloon product page. Please also click here for more information.
How can I contact you?
Telephone us on 0845 486 1016 between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday or use our Contact Us page. You can always place an order online outside these hours.
How much does it cost to ring you?
Our 0845 number means that you will be ringing local rate (maximum 3p a minute) from anywhere in the UK! Mobile operators may charge more. If you’re calling from outside of the UK you can dial +44 113 359 3143.
Can I order by telephone?
Yes, telephone us on 0845 486 1016.
What are your delivery costs?
Our Super Saver delivery is included FREE in the price of your balloon in a box. When you are checking out you will be offered further options which, if you choose them result in additional delivery costs. See our Delivery page for further information.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard & Visa Electron.
Does the gift box state there are balloons inside the box?
We have a small returns address under the recipients address in very small print which is usually unnoticed. For orders delivered to Scotland & Northern Ireland we add an additional label 'balloons filled with non-flammable gas' for posting reasons.
